Registration Fee
Every student is charged an annual registration fee for their first class of the fall semester.
Registration fees are due at the time of registration and are at the rates below.
First child - $30/semester; Sibling #1 - $20.00 per semester; Sibling #2 - $15.00 per semester
Commitment Scholarship
Toledo Met is thrilled to offer a commitment scholarship to all students. As students become more interested in performing arts, they may wish to take more classes. To encourage the broadening of student's interests, Toledo Met reduces the cost of additional classes. In short, the more classes a student takes per week, the less expensive the classes become. (See scholarship tables below.)
*Private lessons do not qualify for scholarship rates.
Production and Costume Fees
- Students and cast members participating in Newsies Jr. will not pay a costuming fee this year!
- Students in studio showcase are subject to a costuming fee per dance that will not exceed $45.26 per dance.
- Students participating in Studio Showcase will pay an additional costume fee of $53.88 due April 5, 2024.
- Please note - Students receiving financial aid will have to pay for costumes and production fees. Financial aid awards only cover tuition.
Sibling Discount
Student #1 - Student with highest tuition total. This student is full price.
Sibling #2 - Student with second highest tuition total. This student gets a 5% discount.
Sibling #3+ - All remaining siblings get a 10% discount on qualifying classes.
*Private lessons do not qualify for sibling discounts. Production fees are not eligible for discounts.
Tuition Payment Options
- Pay in full by check or credit card on or before January 23, 2024,
- Pay in five installments. Payments will be charged to a credit card on file on 1/22/24; 2/15.24; 3/15/24; 4/15/24 and 5/1/24.
- Pay in five installments via cash/check. Monthly check payments are due to the office by 1/22/24; 2/15.24; 3/15/24; 4/15/24 and 5/1/24 Please note, if payment is not dropped off to Toledo Met on time, the credit card on file will be charged.
Prorated Tuition Due to Late Start
If a student wishes to enroll in a class after the start of the semester, tuition will be prorated. The student's account will only be charged for the # of classes remaining in the semester.

Newsies Jr. Young Ensemble Classes - In order to be in the production of Newsies Jr. in the "young ensemble (ages 5-8)", students must be enrolled in BOTH the Saturday morning Young Ensemble Tap/Jazz Combo (pick class according to age) AND the Saturday Morning Young Ensemble Group Acting and Singing Class from 10:00-10:50 am. Please note - Young ensemble members will be required to attend additional Saturday morning rehearsals beginning mid-March.
*Pre-Professional Company (Trainee Level) Class Requirements - At least four ballet technique classes Monday-Thursday; One Conditioning Class per week; One non-ballet dance class per week. ABT Level 4 and Up; En Pointe. Company Levels are the same as Fall 2023.
Pre- Professional Company (Corps de Ballet) Class Requirements - Daily ballet technique class Monday-Thursday; one conditioning class per week; one non-ballet dance class per week. Elevation to corps de ballet is granted by company director.
**Junior Company Class Requirements
- At least three ballet technique classes Monday - Thursday; One conditioning Class per week; Must take the Junior Company Class on Fridays. ABT Level 2.5 or higher and in at least grade 4.
