Summer Musicals 2026

Dear Edwina Jr.


We are excited to announce sign ups for our summer junior musical program, Dear Edwina Jr. Directed by Niki Mohr, Nicole Spadafore and assisted by Danyel Tussing, this musical program is going to be the perfect way for our budding musical theater students to spend the summer! Details below...


  • Rehearsals will be held Monday -Thursday, and will begin May 21, 2026.
  • Not every student is called for every rehearsal.
  • There is no rehearsal on July 3, 2026.
  • TeamSnap will be utilized to announce rehearsal schedules a week in advance.
  • Conflicts will absolutely be tolerated but must be disclosed on audition form.
  • Tech Week is mandatory and will be held July 13-July 17, 2026, at the Franciscan Center.
  • Shows are scheduled for 1:30 pm on Saturday, July 18 and Sunday, July 19, 2026.
  • There is a $150.00 production fee for participation in the program due June 1, 2026.
  • Show tickets cost $15 each. Seating will be general admission.
  • Auditions will be held Thursday, April 30, 2026 7:30 - 9:00 pm or on Saturday, May 2, 2026 from 2:30 - 4:00 pm.

Mean Girls, High School Edition

Audition Information


  • Auditions will be held May 18 and 19, 2026, 4:30 - 9:00 pm.
  • Sign up for a 60 minute slot here.  Auditions will consist of a 30 minute choreography session (don't stress if you are not a dancer!)  followed by a 30 minute audition that consists of a dance, acting and vocal audition.
  • Audition packet and  sides can be found here.  Please select and prepare a vocal selection from the options presented in the packet.
  • All performers must complete this Google Audition Form/Contract  before their scheduled audition. 
  • Auditions will be held in groups of five. 
  • Callbacks will be held May 22, 2026 at 5:00 pm.
  • Shows will be performed at the Franciscan Center July 24-26, 2026. 
  • Show contains mature content.  Recommended for ages 15+.
  • Rehearsals will be held beginning June 1, 2026 and they will be run in the evenings between 6-9 pm at Toledo Met. 
  • Not every cast member will be called to every rehearsal.
  • Conflicts will be tolerated but must be disclosed on audition form.

2026-27  Season

Nutcracker 2026 Auditions

Advanced Dancer Auditions will be held Saturday, August 22, 2026 from 1:30 - 3:30 pm and are open to non-Toledo Met dancers.  Must be proficient en pointe in center.


Beginner and Intermediate Dancer Auditions (ages 5+) will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026 frm 1:30 - 4:30 pm.  This audition is also open to non-Toledo Met dancers.


Audition sign ups will be available July 15, 2026.


Rehearsals for Intermediate and Beginner dancers will be held on Saturday afternoons beginning September 5, 2026.  Rehearsals for advanced dancers will be held Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays from 8:00 - 9:00 pm and on Saturday afternoons.  Call schedules for rehearsals are determined on a weekly basis.  Not all dancers are called for every rehearsal. 


Shows will be held Friday, December 4 (school show); Saturday December 5, 1:30 pm; Sunday December 6, 1:30 pm and Saturday, December 13, 2026, 1:30 pm.

Toledo Met is committed to providing high quality performance opportunities to students as young as 3 years old.  Productions are staged at the Franciscan Center of Lourdes University with state of the art technical support and topnotch theatrical enhancements including beautiful scenery and costumes.  It is the mission of Toledo Met to provide students with high quality experiences in order to facilitate interpersonal growth applicable to successful endeavors both inside their chosen genre of performing arts and beyond.
