What is Progressive Ballet Technique?
Progressive Ballet Technique (PBT) is a body-conditioning program that helps dancers improve their technique and advance in all dance forms by training muscle memory. It focuses on core stability, weight placement, and alignment, and also teaches pelvic stability, muscle control, and proprioception.
PBT Teacher Credentials
Toledo Met offers is committed to offering professional development to our teachers when it directly benefits our students. To date, Toledo Met has credentialed half or our staff in Progressive Ballet Technique. This is critical as PBT is taught both during ballet class and in it's own conditioning class.
Toledo Met Conditioning Classes PBT Fusion
In addition to PBT, many of our teachers hold certification in Pilates and Yoga. Toledo Met's conditioning class include PBT exercises, as well as yoga and floor pilates exercise in order to provide dancers with a well rounding conditioning regimen.
