Toledo Met Dance Competition Program

After careful consideration, Toledo Met is excited to bring a competition program to the region that offers high quality, student centered competition dance experiences to our students.  With a commitment to an intentionally positive culture and the best ballet program to back it up, Toledo Met's competition program will be like none other in the area.

Program Overview

Encompassing opportunities to perform competitively in group jazz and group tap dances,  Toledo Met's group competition program will be sending dancers to  both local and regional competitions as well as the  prestigious Universal Ballet Competition during the 2025 winter/spring semester. Dancers who compete on our jazz and tap teams will become the most versatile dancers under the leadership of Toledo Met's expert teaching faculty.

A Note about Required Classes

Please note that many of the required semester classes for these companies/programs overlap both one another and the requirements for the UBC program and Toledo Met’s ballet Mini,

Junior and Pre-Professional ballet companies.

When you see a required class listed and it is also listed in the requirements of another program/company think “two birds,

one stone”.  That class counts for all companies it is required for.  It is not “in addition to”.
